Motorola Edge 50 has a general score of 81.2, which is better than the vivo X80 Pro's global score of 72.6. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 50 has newer 14 version and vivo X80 Pro has Android 12 version, offering some additional features. The Motorola Edge 50 is a way newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat lighter and thinner than the vivo X80 Pro.
The vivo X80 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has less brightness, it also counts with a bit higher 1440 x 3200px resolution, a just a little higher pixels count per inch of screen and a little bit larger display. The vivo X80 Pro and the Motorola Edge 50 have really similar processors, and although the Motorola Edge 50 has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The vivo X80 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have a 50 MP resolution camera, the vivo X80 Pro also has a larger camera aperture for better captures in low-light situations, a larger camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures and a much better video definition.
Vivo X80 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 count with very similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, both have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 features just a little bit longer battery performance than vivo X80 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4700mAh.
