Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 3, getting a overall score of 90.5 against 86.6. Although Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Xiaomi Black Shark 3 were released with only 5 months difference, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system).
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 1176 x 2400 pixels resolution and a just a little better display density. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's processing unit is just as good as the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 one, both of them have 8 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking pictures or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, a 0.59 inches sensor and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a bit better battery duration than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has a 5% larger battery capacity.
