Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting an 86.6 score against 78.7. Even though the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is extremely newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is extremely thicker and a lot heavier. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel number per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Xiaomi Black Shark 3's one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 shoots greater photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a back-facing camera with much more MP, a lot bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, higher 60 frames per second video frame rates and a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has improved battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4720mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
