Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is much better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a overall score of 86.6 against 77.5. Although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it is extremely thicker and just a bit heavier. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a bit bigger screen and a just a bit better pixel density. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 takes a lot better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has faster 60 fps video frame rate, a much larger sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality, a bigger camera aperture for better low light captures and videos and a lot better 64 megapixels resolution camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity.
