Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50, getting a overall score of 88.3 against 83.8. Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is newer than Galaxy A50, it is way thicker and a lot heavier. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a just a little worse display pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has 4 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, it also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels, a lot larger sensor and a much better video quality. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy A50. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy A50, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
