The Samsung Galaxy A31 is a bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark, with an 81.3 score against 80.4. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A31 has older 10 version and Xiaomi Black Shark has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy A31 is a a lot newer phone, and it is also a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Black Shark.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A31, although it has a quite lower screen pixels density, a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little bit smaller display. The Xiaomi Black Shark has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy A31 has more memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB.
