The Google Nexus 5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi-3, having a 76 score against 71.6. These phones work with Android OS, but Google Nexus 5 has a more recent 4.4.3 version and Xiaomi Mi-3 has Android 4.4.2, offering some additional features and increased performance. Google Nexus 5 is a somewhat lighter but a bit thicker device than the Xiaomi Mi-3.

Xiaomi Mi-3 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has 64 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi-3 counts with greater battery duration than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 3050mAh battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi-3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi-3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi-3, letting go some features and specs.
