HTC U Ultra has a general score of 77, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi-3's 71.6 global score. HTC U Ultra is a a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Mi-3. Xiaomi Mi-3 has a slightly better looking display than HTC U Ultra, although it has a little bit worse pixels density, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen.
The Xiaomi Mi-3 has a bit more powerful processor than HTC U Ultra, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 4 cores, the Xiaomi Mi-3 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The HTC U Ultra takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi-3, because although it has a lower resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better low light photography and a much better (4K) video quality.
The HTC U Ultra features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi-3, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the HTC U Ultra also has an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi-3 features just a bit better battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 3050mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi-3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi-3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the HTC U Ultra, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi-3, resigning some features and specs.
