Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a global score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 4's global score of 75.2. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 4, it's somewhat thinner and also a lot newer. Xiaomi Mi 4 has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a little better screen density.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (although they are slower). Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 4 also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations and a back camera with a better 13 MP resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity against 3080mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 4. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 4, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
