Comparison review
The Apple iPhone XS Max is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting an 84.5 score against 76.4. Even though the Apple iPhone XS Max is incredibly heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, it's just a little thinner and newer. IPhone XS Max features a better performing processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the iPhone XS Max also has a 64 bits CPU and a higher number of faster cores.
IPhone XS Max features a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a bigger screen, a bit higher number of pixels in each screen inch, a quite brighter display and a higher 1242 x 2688 resolution. IPhone XS Max captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality photos and videos, and they both have the same resolution back camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the iPhone XS Max also counts with faster video frame rates and a bigger camera aperture.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone XS Max, because it has 128 GB internal storage. IPhone XS Max's battery duration is very similar to the battery duration in Xiaomi Mi 5s, although the iPhone XS Max has just 3179mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5s. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi 5s, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
