Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a 79.3 score against 76.4. Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older and a little heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has an older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little better processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also has a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a just a little greater screen pixel density, a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit bigger screen.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a larger aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited environments and a camera in the back with lot more MP.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little better battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 7% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs more money than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, resigning a couple specs and features.
