Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting a score of 79.6 against 76.4. The Sony Xperia XZ3 body is incredibly newer, but noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 5s. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing a couple additional features and performance optimizations.
Xperia XZ3 has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia XZ3 also has a greater number of cores. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has less brightness, it also counts with a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution, a better screen pixel density and a bigger screen.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size diafragm aperture, a same size back camera sensor and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a lot better resolution back camera.
Xperia XZ3 features a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4 percent more battery size.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, giving up some specifications.
