The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's 76 general score. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides the user a couple additional features and better performance. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but it's a little bit heavier.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite shoots much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back-facing camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low-light situations.
