Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 8, with a general score of 83.3 against 79.5. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Despite of the fact that Xiaomi Mi 8 is extremely older than the Asus ROG Phone 8, it's body is thinner and way lighter.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a really superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little bit lower amount of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way brighter screen, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit bigger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 and Xiaomi Mi 8 feature similar storage to install games and applications, they have equal internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 62% larger battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 captures greater photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures, a lot better 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a much better video quality.
