Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, with a overall score of 83.3 against 82.7. Xiaomi Mi 8's body has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, but it is just a little heavier. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a higher pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design's memory for apps and games is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 8 one, both have the same 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, a same resolution camera and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a bigger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a bigger camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality.
