Comparison review
Huawei P40 lite 5G is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8, with a score of 83.4 against 83.3. The Huawei P40 lite 5G construction is newer than Xiaomi Mi 8's, although it is somewhat thicker and just a little heavier. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little sharper display than Huawei P40 lite 5G, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite inferior pixel count in each inch in the screen and a little bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution.
