Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's global score of 76.3. Although it's the best in this review, Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is noticeably heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has the older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way larger screen, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a better pixel amount per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster). The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a bigger diafragm aperture.
