Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 3, having a score of 83.3 against 81.2. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is much newer and a little thinner than Galaxy Note 3's, although it's also a little heavier. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has newer 10 version and Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version, offering some nice extra features.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Note 3 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a little lower pixels density and a little lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little better battery life than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a worse 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
