Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 5G is much better than Xiaomi Mi 8, having a 93.6 score against 83.3. The Galaxy S10 5G is a newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 8, although it's a little thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Galaxy S10 5G has the newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features and performance improvements.
Xiaomi Mi 8 and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G feature extremely similar processors, and although the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a greater amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy S10 5G counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3040, a little bit bigger display and a just a bit better display pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a 12 MP back-facing camera and a same size sensor, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G also has a larger camera aperture to take better captures in low light situations and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
