Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, with an 82.9 score against 81.4. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro is a thicker and much heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both of these devices use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system).
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a slightly better display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with more brightness and a little bit higher count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro's storage to store more apps and games is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a back facing camera with a 48 mega-pixels, the same camera aperture and the same camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has higher 60 fps video frame rates.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
