Comparison review
The Huawei P50 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9, getting an 86.3 score against 83.2. Even though Huawei P50 is much newer than Xiaomi Mi 9, it is just a bit thicker and a bit heavier. The Huawei P50's processing unit is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 9 one, and although the Huawei P50 has more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Huawei P50, although it has a little lower screen density, a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little smaller screen. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots greater photographs and videos than Huawei P50, although it has a lower 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back, they both have the same aperture.
The Huawei P50 has a much better memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 512 GB internal memory. The Huawei P50 counts with longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
