Xiaomi Mi 9 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, with an 83.2 score against 79. Xiaomi Mi 9 is a newer and much thinner phone than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, although it is a little bit heavier. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a really smaller display, it also counts with a bit better screen density and a little more brightness.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has 2 GB more RAM.
