Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi A3, getting an 83 score against 79.2. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi A3 has Android 11. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an older, somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi A3.
The Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a lot higher quantity of pixels per inch of display, a little bit larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px.
Xiaomi Mi A3 shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution and a larger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has 64 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi A3 features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4030mAh battery size.
