Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, having a overall score of 79.6 against 77.5. The Galaxy A40 is a way newer and a lot lighter device than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but it's also a little bit thicker. Galaxy A40's processor is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi Max one, they have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy A40 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a better screen pixels density. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a bit better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max has a much better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 56 percent larger battery size.
