Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max's global score of 77.5. Galaxy Note8's construction is newer and a bit lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max's, although it's thicker. The Galaxy Note8 has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and way more pixels per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has more internal storage. The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4850mAh battery size. Galaxy Note8 takes slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a way less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
