Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro's general score of 75.3. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the Galaxy S7 edge has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has Android 5.0 version. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro features a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also has a 64 bits processor, an additional GPU and a higher number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has a better looking display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also counts with a bit larger display. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a way better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, although it has a less mega pixels resolution camera.
The Galaxy S7 edge has a quite bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S7 edge, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, resigning some specs and features.
