IPhone 12 Pro Max is much better than Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a 93.2 score against 78.2. Even though the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Xiaomi Poco M3 were released with only a few months difference, the iPhone 12 Pro Max design is notably thinner but somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Poco M3. The iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with iOS 15.x operating system, while Xiaomi Poco M3 works with Android 10 operating system.
IPhone 12 Pro Max features a superior processing power than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has 2 less cpu cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a 64-bit processing unit. The iPhone 12 Pro Max features a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because it has a little larger display, a quite higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1284 x 2778px.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 captures clearer videos and photos than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has lower video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
Xiaomi Poco M3 features a really longer battery performance than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 3687mAh.
Although iPhone 12 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 12 Pro Max, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go a couple specifications.
