Comparison review
Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, with a global score of 82.6 against 78.2. Despite of the fact that Xperia 1 is older than the Xiaomi Poco M3, it's body is lighter and somewhat thinner. The Sony Xperia 1 has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a much better display pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
Sony Xperia 1 has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a really longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with faster 30 frames per second video frame rates, a way bigger camera sensor taking way better quality pictures and a back facing camera with way more megapixels.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a couple specifications.
