The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's 71.7 general score. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides a couple additional features and some performance improvements. Huawei Mate X's body is extremely newer, but thicker and notably heavier than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
Huawei Mate X features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a bit worse pixel count per inch in the display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2200 x 2480px and a really larger screen. Huawei Mate X features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate X has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate X counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Huawei Mate X captures slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a larger aperture and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
