Comparison review
LG G5 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a score of 76.1 against 71.7. Both of these phones have Android OS, but LG G5 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving some extra features. Although LG G5 and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were released only 7 months apart, LG G5's construction is a bit heavier but somewhat thinner.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a bit better processor than LG G5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores. The LG G5 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a little bit bigger display, a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
LG G5 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a more mega-pixels camera, a much higher (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture to take better low-light photos. The LG G5 has a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G5 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with a much longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 46% greater battery capacity.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG G5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go some features and specs.
