Comparison review
Galaxy A5 (2017) has a global score of 75.8, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's 71.7 general score. Even though Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy A5 (2017) design is somewhat thinner but also a little bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A5 (2017). Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 3 GB RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime also counts with a bit greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) also has a more MP camera in the back and a bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) features a little bit better storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A5 (2017) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a superior battery duration than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
