Comparison review
The Galaxy Alpha is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, having a score of 76.3 against 71.7. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Alpha has an older 4.4.4 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Galaxy Alpha's body is way lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
The Galaxy Alpha features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Alpha features a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, although it has a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution, a much worse display density and a bit smaller screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a back camera with less mega pixels resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a superior memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 120 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Alpha, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning a couple specs and features.
