Comparison review
The Galaxy J7 Max is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a 76.1 score against 71.7. These phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy J7 Max has 7.0 Nougat version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides some extra features. Even though Galaxy J7 Max and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy J7 Max construction is a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max also has 1 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime also counts with a just a little better pixel quantity in each inch in the screen.
Galaxy J7 Max features a little bit more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy J7 Max also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Galaxy J7 Max features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same video definition and a 13 mega-pixels camera, the Galaxy J7 Max also has a way larger aperture to take better low light photos and video.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features better battery duration than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
