Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a general score of 80.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's overall score of 71.7. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition design is somewhat thinner but just a little bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a quite bigger screen and a little bit higher screen pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features improved battery performance than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 28 percent bigger battery size.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a back-facing camera with less MP, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot bigger aperture.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
