Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a score of 85.7 against 71.7. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, but Samsung made it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. These phones use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit processing unit. Galaxy S6 Edge features a much sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a little bit larger screen, a greater screen density and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a much lower (Full HD) video definition, a smaller diafragm aperture and a lower 13 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
