Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover Pro has a global score of 81, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's 71.7 score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover Pro has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy XCover Pro's construction is a lot newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy XCover Pro counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much bigger aperture.
The Galaxy XCover Pro's battery performance is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's battery duration, although the Galaxy XCover Pro has a 1 percent lower battery capacity.
Although Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
