The Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is way better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's general score of 71.7. Xperia 5 II's design is notably newer and somewhat thinner, but also just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. Xperia 5 II features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 II counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a bigger screen, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a quite greater screen pixels density. Sony Xperia 5 II has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 96 GB more internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has just a bit longer battery life than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4100mAh battery size. The Xperia 5 II has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a lesser megapixels back facing camera, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way larger camera aperture.
Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5 II, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning a couple specs and features.
