The Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting an 82.2 score against 71.7. Even though Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, it is a lot thicker and incredibly heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840, a larger display and a lot more pixels per screen inch. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a much more megapixels back facing camera and a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and video. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4100mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, giving up some features and specifications.
