Xperia Z5 has a general score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's 71.7 score. These phones include Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Even though Xperia Z5 is older than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, it's design is just a bit lighter and thinner.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a graphics processing unit. The Xperia Z5 has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a quite larger display.
Xperia Z5 takes a lot better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a larger camera aperture, a back facing camera with a much better 23 mega pixels resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution. The Xperia Z5 has a little bit better memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z5 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 200 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a way better battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has a 41% bigger battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
