The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is way better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a general score of 88.3 against 71.7. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even though the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, it's thicker and heavier.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a quite worse number of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a really bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera, a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger aperture to take better low-light photos and videos.
Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning a couple specifications.
