Comparison review
Galaxy J7 Star has a score of 73.1, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 5's 67.2 general score. Despite being the best in our current comparison, Galaxy J7 Star's construction is heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Redmi 5. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy J7 Star has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version, giving a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a quite better 720 x 1440 resolution, a just a bit more pixels per inch of display and a quite larger display. Samsung Galaxy J7 Star features a quite bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 400 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 and the Galaxy J7 Star have quite similar batteries performance. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star also has a better resolution back-facing camera and a much bigger aperture to take better images and video in low light situations.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Star not only is the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other phones.
