Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T's global score of 78.2. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy A40 is older than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, it's construction is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple additional features and improved performance.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a quite greater screen pixels density. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy A40. Both have 4 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores.
Galaxy A40 has as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Xiaomi Redmi 9T one, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and exactly the same 64 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
