Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a 77.7 score against 75.7. Despite of the fact the HTC One M9 is older and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it's construction is still lighter. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but HTC One M9 has the older 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
HTC One M9 features a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher pixels count per display inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The HTC One M9 counts with a much better performing processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64-bits CPU. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a way better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 76% greater battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a superior camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a way larger camera sensor which provides a much better image and video quality, a back camera with much more megapixels and a larger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.
