Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a general score of 83.2 against 75.7. Xiaomi Mi 9's construction is a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a much greater performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a little bit larger display, a brighter display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Xiaomi Mi 9's memory capacity to install applications and games is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro one, they have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a lower video definition, a lesser MP resolution back-facing camera and a much tinier camera sensor which provides a much worse photo and video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light photography and videos.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
