The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has an overall score of 75.8, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's score of 75.7. Despite of the fact the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a lot older and just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it's design is still a little bit lighter. Both devices in this comparison work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor.
