Comparison review
Galaxy Alpha has a general score of 76.3, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's 71.8 score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Alpha has the older 4.4.4 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy Alpha design is much thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X.
The Galaxy Alpha features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy Alpha has just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, although it has a lot lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, a bit lower count of pixels per display inch and a quite smaller screen.
The Galaxy Alpha shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because although it has a lesser mega-pixels camera in the back and a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photos and video in low light situations, it also counts with a way better video resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4100mAh battery size against 1860mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, giving up a couple specifications.
