Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has an overall score of 80.4, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's 71.8 global score. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's body is just a bit heavier but a little thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and they were released with only a couple months difference. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a bit larger screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because although it has a camera in the back with a worse 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photography and videos and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with much more memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 28 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
