Comparison review
Galaxy S7 edge is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, with a general score of 78.1 against 71.8. The Galaxy S7 edge is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, but it's just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S7 edge has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, offering some nice extra features and performance improvements.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Galaxy S7 edge has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a greater screen density and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy S7 edge has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because although it has a back-facing camera with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a slightly bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 200 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S7 edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, resigning a couple specifications.
