The Motorola One Hyper is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a general score of 79.8 against 75.8. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Motorola One Hyper has 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Motorola One Hyper construction is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's, although it is just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier.
The Motorola One Hyper has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Motorola One Hyper both have extremely similar displays, because although the Motorola One Hyper has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit bigger display.
The Motorola One Hyper captures way better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low light situations, a lot better video resolution and a much more mega-pixels back camera. The Motorola One Hyper features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Motorola One Hyper's battery life is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro one.
