The Galaxy A22 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a 76.1 score against 75.8. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A22 has an older 12 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Galaxy A22's design is extremely newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's, but it's just a little heavier and just a bit thicker.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy A22, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel quantity in each screen inch and a lot higher 1080 x 2160 resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy A22.

The Galaxy A22 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy A22 also has a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
